About 232 A Street

We’re dedicated to building a welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive development at 232 A Street in Boston. Our recent developments, 105 West First Street and Pier 4, are excellent examples of the best-in-class design and public realm experience we strive for.

The proposed 232 A Street project involves redevelopment of the site, currently predominantly being used as a surface parking lot, to include an approximately 335,000 square foot building for laboratory/R&D and office use, ground floor space with retail, restaurant, civic, and/or cultural uses, and below grade parking. The project will be grounded in a complementary program and design that respects Fort Point’s history and character as a hub for arts, innovation, and industry.

232 A Street also includes a city street extension and associated sidewalks, improvements to the Harborwalk and South Bay Harbor Trail, and site grading for improved neighborhood resiliency. The project also proposes to contribute approximately 1.5 acres of public realm along the Fort Point Channel, including a 1.2-acre waterfront park.

The proposed project has been and will continue to be shaped by a community engagement process; we look forward to continuing outreach and collaboration with all stakeholders and interested parties throughout the review process and will continue to collaborate with such parties during development.
